Originally established in 1996 by Seamus Hill, we have been providing peerless quality automotive repairs to Narre Warren, Narre Warren South, Hampton Park, Berwick and the surrounding areas ever since.

Seamus started out at Berwick Nissan in 1985 as an apprentice. He moved with the owner to Cheltenham Nissan, running pre-delivery and quickly rose to become service manager at just 18 years of age. Seamus came back home to Berwick to be service manager at Garry Lechte Toyota in 1991.

Gary Lechte Toyota started out slow after Seamus took over, as the business was in receivership. With Seamus overseeing servicing, they went from tough times to Seamus receiving a Toyota Service Excellence Award in 1994.

In 1995, Seamus went to Toyota Motor Company as district service manager in 1995, supporting dealers in VIC/TAS.

Seamus then started his own business in 1996 on Princes Highway, in what was his grandparents old front yard when they had farm land in the area – Seamus’ family has been in the area since 1850. 

Thanks to Seamus Hill Automotive’s dedication to customer service and high quality automotive repairs, growing customer demand initiated us moving to our current factory location in 2001.
